Our Boys. Our Family.
Watching our three boys (Caleb and his younger brothers, twins Nolan and Jack) tear around the house – screaming, yelling, harassing our dog and tormenting each other – it's hard to tell that there is anything wrong. But the truth is, our younger sons Nolan and Jack, diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) in November of 2006, struggle everyday with this fatal genetic disorder. A disorder that, without a cure, will rob our boys of their ability to run, play or even walk before they are teenagers.
Through the Two Smiles One Hope Foundation, we are determined to end Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy through either treatment of the disease, which would permit an acceptably sustainable way of life; alteration of the disease to a less aggressive disorder; or by curing the disease all together.
Please help us give our boys hope.
With hope for continued smiles,
Alison & Matt Willis
